Dayna Jean Feist

Dayna Jean Feist (Clement) passed away on August 21, 2024, after a long battle with cancer.

Born and raised in CA, Dayna attended the University of California, Berkley, followed by an adventure in NYC where she worked for the Museum of Modern Art and once kicked Picasso out of a party! She was a long-time resident of Buncombe Co. and a respected Certified Résumé Writer.

Dayna is survived by her sisters, Dawn Feist Kelly (John), Lori Cameron and Debbie Freeman; brother-in-law, Jay Williams; nephew, Gus Williams; and sister-in-law, Katherine.

As the devoted wife of Jack Clement and staunch friend to all, Dayna helped many in the community to better their lives through helping them find the job of their dreams. An avid horsewoman and animal lover who loved nothing more than being on her father’s ranch in Texas, Dayna rescued many animals over her time in Asheville. Dayna’s beautiful smile and heart will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held at St Luke’s Episcopal Church on Friday, September 20, at 1:00 p.m.
