Delano 'Bean' Norton

Mr. Norton was born in Madison County and was a son of the late Jim
Norton and the late Flora Wallin Griffin.  He was retired from the US Air Force, and more recently served as a driver with BOOST Transportation Service.  He was a member of Walnut Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Rosalee Rector Norton;  a daughter, Sonya Deck of Easley, SC;  a step-daughter, Sharon Honea of Chuckey, TN;  a step-son, Gary Rice of Summersville, SC;  two brothers, Broughton Wallin of Candler and Ernest
Norton of Asheville;  two grandsons;  a step-grandson;  two nephews, a niece, and a special niece, Shirley Norton of Asheville.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Saturday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Worley officiating.  Burial will be at
Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.

His family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
