Fletcher - Della Riddle Barnwell, 84, of 135 Burney Mountain Road, died Wednesday, August 4, 1999 at her residence.
A native of Madison County, she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Doshie Gillespie Riddle.
She is survived by her husband, Edward E. Barnwell; two sons, Carroll Barnwell of Fletcher and Gene Barnwell of Arden and a granddaughter, Kathy Butler.
Graveside services will be held at 11 am Friday in the Hooper’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by the Revs. Lawrence Rhodes and Odell Barnwell.
The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery and at other times will be at the residence.
Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is in charge of arrangements.
