Dixie Nell Holden

Dixie N. Holden Fairview – Dixie Nell Holden, 83, of Fairview, died Saturday, March 12, 2016 at her residence. A native of Macon County, she was a daughter of the late Alec and Irene Southard. Dixie is survived by her ex-husband, Frank Holden of Sylva; two daughters, Bobbie Hollifield and her husband, Zane Creasman of Fairview and Jayne Edens and her husband, Ben, of Elizabethton, TN; one son, Eddie Holden of Fairview; three grandchildren, Melissa Drake, April Edens and Jesse Edens as well as three great-grandchildren, Lauren, Jimmy and Amelia. A funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 17 at Emma's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
