Donald Richard Robbins, 76, of Asheville, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2015, at his residence.
Born in Dayton, OH to the late Donald J. and Viola Reichert Robbins, he was a production manager at Crown Cork & Seal, was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of St. Eugene's Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Mary Patricia"Pat" Sparaco Robbins; two sons, Donald N. Robbins (Jessica) of Eustis, FL and Nicholas S. Robbins (Rebecca) of Asheville, two daughters, Denise M. Robbins and Laura Anne Calloway both of Asheville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Robbins of Alden, MI and Richard Robbins of Dayton, OH.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 20, at 11:00 A.M., at St. Eugene's Catholic Church and inurnment will follow in the church columbarium.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

Don was my boss at Crown Cork and Seal for almost 10 years. Very funny and witty never a dull moment with Don around. He loved his family dearly. I am so sorry for your loss and can’t imagine what you are dealing with. Please know that my prayers are with you and your dear family at this difficult time.
