  1. Dearest Irene, I was saddened to hear of your loss. Don was solid, intelligent, and willing to help a friend of Bill’s. Please don’t hesitate to call me 697-6782. I will see you soon. Deborah

  2. Dear Irene:
I am deeply saddened upon learning of the passing of my cousin, Donald S. Nance. I have known him since my formative and early years’?especially when we met during Irma’s Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Irene, over the years, Don inspired me not to look at and take life as seriously as my father had reared me to assume. To some extent I have over the decades followed Don’s example. I as a result am less stressed and uptight than I could have been had I followed my father’s strict advice as he mandated.

Thank you, Don, for setting an alternative and more realistic example for me to follow.
