DORIS MARTHA HOFFMAN Doris Martha Hoffman, 91, of 16 Little Austin Lane, Leicester, died Friday, September 5, 2008, at Asheville Healthcare in Swannanoa. Mrs. Hoffman was born in Jonesboro, Indiana, and was a daughter of the late Joseph and Effie Coates. She had lived in the Asheville area for four years. Surviving are two sons, John Hoffman and wife, Ann, of Leicester, and Donald J. Hoffman of Michigan; two sisters, her twin, Donna Lord of West Palm Beach, FL and Joanne Crumbley of Orlando, FL; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Private services will be held at a later date. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is assisting with the arrangements.
