Dorothy Ann Dover, 89, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024.

An Asheville native, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Arnie G. and Reba Lillie Brown Hensley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Dover; son, Marvin Dover, Jr.; brothers, Bobby Hensley and Arnie Hensley, Jr.; and great-grandchild, Shay.

Mrs. Dover was a member of Aaron Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Parker; granddaughters, Crystal Metts (Zach) and Elizabeth Parker (Cody); and great-grandchildren, Parker, Briar, Abby, and Ryker.

Her family will receive friends beginning at noon on Tuesday, December 17, at Aaron Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. The Revs. Jonathan Stewart and Matthew Templeton will officiate. Burial will then take place at Pisgah View Memorial Park.

Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family.
