Linda and Tim, I have known Dorothy for most of my life. I never met a person who did not like her, she was so positive and full of energy! She truly loved life! I have so many memories of her doing my Mom and my hair, even to coloring it blue for a prom to match my dress! Can you believe how far ahead of her time she was!
She has made such a wonderful impression on her community and her family! I know your hearts are heavy and there is such an empty place right now, and I pray for comfort for each of you in these coming days. She will be sorely missed by so many! Lovingly, Barbara
Sure will miss “GRAMMA” …..A sweet dear lady that I’ve known many many years…..She’s waiting for me at the “house”…….LOVE YOU GRAMMA……

Linda sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
For cousins we were pretty far apart in age. No matter. I knew a diamond when I saw one. She was always so kind to me and to my mother. Linda, your family is so fortunate to have had her for so many wonderful years. I know your hearts are hurting now, but that hurt will fade. Your love for your mother will grow even more…I promise. Cydney

Linda,
So sorry to hear about Dorothy Jean’s death. She was a wonderful person and will be missed. Mom always loved getting her hair done and Bob fixing lunch for them.
From sitting in her kitchen as a little girl waiting for pound cake to sledding down her hill, to having my hair cut and bringing my nanny to get hers done, to making sure I saw her every visit to Asheville the last 22 years, she was my favorite person on Earth. This loss is so bitter sweet. She will be missed more than words, but she lived such a long beautiful life. She was and always will be such a light and inspiration in my life. If there was one person I wanted to be like, especially to others, it was her!! I love you always and forever aunt Dot and you will always hold such a special place in my ♥️
I was saddened to see Dorothy had passed. She was a very lovely & beautiful lady. Heaven is sweeter now. Love & prayers to Linda Reese and family.

I am so sorry Linda for your loss, I have been there with my parents and grandparents. My grandmother and mother came all the way from leicester to have your mother fix their hair. I was Cindy Radcliff then.
Dorothy was a beautiful person, and will be missed by all that knew her. Prayers for Linda and family during this time.
We were both so sorry to hear about Dot. She was a lovely person, and did my Mom’s hair many years ago. Mama remembers Timmy throwing rocks in the neighbor’s window, the relationship Dot had with Bob, and how Linda helped out with Timmy. Dot was a gracious and lovely lady. We both are blessed to have known her. JoAnn Hughey and Kay Hughey Griffin
Miss knowing you are with us here. But we will see you soon! Leave a light on!
