Dear Aunt Mary Lou, Donna, and Bob,
Please accept my deepest regrets on the passing of Uncle Earnest. I never did express to him how much of an influence he was in my life. If it were not for him, I would never have gone to college to get my degree in Meteorolgy.
Dave
Donna and Family,
My deepest sympathy for the loss of your Dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you all today.
I remember when Mr. Rodney came to oukr 5th grade class to talk about meteorology.
My condolences to the family.
Dear Bob,
Received word of your father’s death and I am very sorry for your loss. My father died last year, and though he was terribly ill and tired and weak, my heart still can scarely let him go. I share your pain and loss, and know the sorrow you are experiencing.
I never met your father, but the information on him is impressive! I do remember now that he was a meteorologist, a ‘weatherman.’ I can see much of you in his photo.
It has been many years since we’ve been in touch; I hear about you from time to time. I certainly remeber all the fun we used to have in 7th and 8th grade and high school! and your kindness to me at one particular Country Day Dance–thank you.
Your daugther must be in her twenties by now; my youngest is 18 and a freshman in college; Jason, the oldest, will be 33 soon [gasp!] and an attorney in Flordia. I have a daughter who is 21, married, and has her own daugther; and also, Jason has a son.
Hope all is going well in your life. It would be great if you could ever join us for one of our reunion suppers, though I haven’t been to any in the past year. But they are great to catch up with folks from bygone years.
Once again, I wish to express my deepest sympathy to you and your family during this time of loss. It is my hope and prayer that God will ease your way and give your strength and peace for the days ahead.
God bless,
Cynthia [Cindy] Baron Coleman

Thinking of you all… with Love
Dear Aunt Mary Lou, Donna & Bob,
My favorite photo of my Uncle Earnest is of him in his uniform. How handsome! Another favorite photo is also in his uniform and he is with Aunt Mary Lou.
My mother adored her brother, without a doubt. She would always ask me if I had contacted Uncle Earnest, no matter whether our news we had to share was good or bad. She was so proud of him going off to college! When he visited Pennsylvania, she would cook some of his favorite foods, like dandelion greens the way Grandma made them. He would talk about fishing with my father. Two fishermen!
Carole just told me about this website, but my thoughts and prayers are with you since Donna called. Please try to take one day at a time. That was my mother’s motto after my father died suddenly.
We are pleased that the flowers we sent were of some comfort.
Please keep in touch,
Love, Elaine& family
