Guestbook

  1. I am so sorry to hear of Eddie’s passing, I always enjoyed talking with him and having him help with our dunking booth for relay for life(FUMC) years ago. His passion and love for the town of fletcher is very evident in all he has done. Prayers for his family, friends and all the lives he touched.

  2. I’m so sorry to hear about Eddie’s passing. I had just recently visited him in the hospital and was glad to have seen him. We worked together at Square D Company (Schneider Electric) where he was a very highly thought of engineer. Everyone respected Eddie for his service as a Marine during Nam and for his dedication to family and to Square D. Associates on the factory floor always knew they could count on Eddie for his technical support and for his pleasant demeanor when manufacturing problems arose. On a personal basis, I will always remember us chatting before we wrapped up the week late on Friday, March 12, 1993. We both jokingly said, “Well, guess we better get home. They say we might get a little snow tomorrow!” We always relived that in following years! My condolences to Judy and the family during this difficult time.

  3. So very sorry for your loss. Remember him from school and know his family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

  4. I’m deeply saddened by the news of Eddie’s passing. We worked together in the Industrial Engineering department at Square D during the early 1970s, often taking lunch breaks together and consulting on technical issues. I enjoyed getting to know Eddie and laughing at the stories he shared about his tough boot camp experiences at Parris Island.

The last time we saw each other was at Sam’s, where we exchanged phone numbers and promised to reconnect, reminisce, and catch up on life since our time at Square D. Unfortunately, I moved out of state for a while, after that and it just didn’t happen, which I deeply regret. I truly admired Eddie for his service to this country, his professional acumen and his warm, outgoing personality.

  5. I extend my deepest sympathy to Eddie’s family! He graduated from Marshall High with my late husband, Stanley Ward! Stanley always spoke favorably of Eddie. May God give you comfort during the coming days!
