Edith Moore

Edith C. Moore, 78, of Asheville, died on Thursday, February 9, 2012, at the John F. Keever Hospice Solace Center. Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her daughter, Patrice Moore. She became a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Asheville, in 1984, and was a part of the Laura Frances Snow Circle and the Beatitudes Sunday School class. Mrs. Moore is survived by many good friends, and by her beloved dog, "Babe," who resides with Edith's friend, Ruth Quiett. A funeral service for Mrs. Moore will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the Groce Funeral Home chapel on Patton Ave. with the Rev. Dr. Tom Sawyer officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Friends and family will gather 30 minutes prior to the service at the funeral home.
