Edna Earle Price

Edna Earle Price, 93, of 80 Virginia Avenue, Asheville, died Wednesday, September 3, 2003, at Pisgah Manor Nursing Center. Mrs. Price was born in Virginia and was a daughter of the late Merritt and Rachel Packett Price. She was a former sales clerk and was a member of Grace Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday School teacher. She is survived by two sisters, Alma Hughes of Candler and Dora Henson of Alexander, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Saturday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Ken Lewis officiating. Burial will be at Woody Cemetery at Spring Creek. Her family will receive friends at the funerla home 30 minutes prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 718 Haywood Road, Asheville, NC 28806.
