EDNA R. HUFF BROWN
Edna Reeves Huff Brown,
92, of Leicester, died Saturday,
December 20, 2003.
Mrs. Brown was a native of
Buncombe County and was the
daughter of the late Garland and Ella
Higgins Reeves. She was also
preceded in death by her husbands,
Frank Huff, Jr. in 1962 and Norman
W. Brown in 1998, a daughter,
Eleanor Crutcher, a sister Frances
Evans of Waynesville, and a
grandson Chris Huff. She was a
member of Leicester United Methodist
Church.
She is survived by three
sons, Harold Huff of Newport News,
VA, and Robert and Perry Huff of
Leicester; one grandson Lewis Huff;
two granddaughters Judy Polantz of
Newport News and Penny Stevens of
Leicester, and five
great-grandchildren.
A committal service will be
conducted at 11:00 am Monday at
Groce Funeral Home on Patton
Avenue by the Rev. Wendell Brittain.
Private burial will follow at Bell United
Methodist Church Cemetery.
Robert and Elsie Gaye, So sorry to read about your mother. I remember your telling me that she had been ill for a while, but even then it is sad to give up your parents. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Condolences to Harold, Rosalie, and Perry also. Take care.
