On July 4, 2020, the Lord called Elizabeth “Beth” Rhodes Moede to her eternal rest.

Beth was born on September 3, 1948 to the late Clyde Thomas and Mable (Rhodes) Gasperson. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Clyde Thomas Gasperson, Jr and David F. Gasperson; and a sister, Lucille Shook.

She leaves behind a loving husband of 53 years, Roy Edward Moede; a son, Brent Moede and a daughter, Angela “Angie” Styles; and one grandson, Kamren Styles, all of the home. There are also 2 sisters, Audrey Craig and Cecily Hart (Stuart). There are numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends that will miss her greatly.

Graveside services will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Ashelawn Garden of Memory, Asheville, NC. Beth will lie in state from 3:30 PM Monday, July 6, 2020 until 8:30 AM Tuesday, July 7 at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian where friends may sign the register book. Masks are required at the funeral home and requested at the cemetery.

Flowers are appreciated or memorial contributions may be made to ABCCM or Meals on Wheels, as both were close to Beth’s heart.
