Elizabeth Ingram Herzberg
November 28, 1939 ~ October 13, 1999
Asheville Butterfly TrailA native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Horace Greely Ingram and Juniata Voorheis Ingram and was also prececed in death by a brother, Thomas Ingram.
She was a devoted caregiver to her family and the small wild animals and birds that frequented her yard feeders.
Surviving are her husband, Rudolph C. Herzberg; three daughters, Kathy Koontz of Mills River, Connie Orander of Cary, NC and Laura Trotter of Thomasville, NC; one son, Steve Herzberg of Arden; three sisters, Alice Hamilton of Lexington, KY, Mary Sudassy of Wheaton, MD and Eleanor Ingram of Arden; four brothers, Roger Ingram of Spruce Pine, Joel Ingram of Madison, WI, Jack Ingram of Candler and Larry Ingram of Candler and three grandchildren, Forrest and Laurel Koontz and Katie-Beth Trotter.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 am Monday at the Avery's Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Jock Ollis officiating.
Her family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:30 PM Sunday at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian.
