Ellen Jane Vanmeter Bartlett, 91, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025.
A native of Marengo, IN, Ellen was the daughter of the late Joseph and Clevie Stroupe Vanmeter. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Cornelious Bartlett; and twin sister, Helen Jean Dearborn.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Ponder; son, Danny Eugene Bartlett; and brothers, Russell Owen and Otto James Vanmeter.
The graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The Rev. Jimmy Page will officiate.
Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Rd. is assisting the family.

Jane was one of a kind. A determined lady that lived everday to her fullest. She loved thrift stores and flea markets. Collected dolls. She would give u the shirt right off her back. She will be missed dearly.Prayers for Danny and Kathy. ❤️
