Emma Dean Morgan Hall, 85, died Saturday, October 15, 2016 at her daughter's home in Candler.
Born in Buncombe County, Mrs. Hall was a daughter of the late Jones Lake and Estella Peebles Morgan. She was married to James Hall, who died in 2003 and was also preceded in death by a grandson, Keith Swafford; a son-in-lawm Eddie White; sisters, Jane Blazer and Iva Jean Fox, and brothers, Clayton and Gedwin Morgan.
She is survived by daughters, Linda White and Emma Swafford and husband, Tommy; sons, Jeff Hall and Steve Hall; grandchildren, Travis Swafford and wife Esther, Nikki Swafford and Stasha Hall; two great-grandchildren, Maya and Zoë Swafford and a sister, Arletta Singleton.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at White Rock Baptist Church where she was a member, with the Revs. Robert Oliver and Les Schofield officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.

White Rock Baptist Church lost a wonderful and faithful church member and friend when Mrs. Dean Hall passed way. We will always remember her beautiful smile and her wonderful personality. It was a terrific blessing to have known her. Heaven has gained another angel.
