Emma Lou Earwood Jones

Emma Lou Earwood Jones, 84, of Charlotte Highway, Fairview, went home to be with her Lord. She was the daughter of the late Emory Fleetus Earwood and Carrie Lillie Jackson of Fairview. She had been living with her sister, Ruby. Emma lived a Christian life, she had love for everyone. Her beautiful smile and warm heart will be missed. She is survived by two sisters Ruby Frances Earwood and Marjorie Elizabeth Ownsbey. Several nephews, nieces and cousins will truly miss her along with special friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Allan S. Jones and two brothers Emory Fleetus Earwood (Jr.) and Carroll Earwood. Emma was affiliated with Rose Hill Church. The Rose Hill Church Family stood by her during her life trials and showed compassion and love. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Cane Creek Cemetery, conducted by CarePartners Chaplain Ken Kelly and Scott Gibson. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Monday, November 12, 2012 at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian. Ken Baldwin, Ron Phillips, Stan Lester, Randy Owensbey, Vance Gibson, Charles Taylor and Darrell Earwood will serve as pallbearers. Our appreciation and love to CarePartners Hospice.
