Asheville Butterfly TrailA native of Fairview, he was a graduate of A.C. Reynolds High School and of Western Carolina University. He was associated with Eaton- Cutler Hammer as Senior Manufacturing Engineer of government and commercial operations.
He was a devoted husband, son, brother and uncle and will be missed by all. He is survived by his wife, Robyn; his parents, Thomas and Arminta Hansen; one brother Dana A. Hansen and his wife, Julie, and two nephews, Thomas and Alec Hansen; mother-in-law, Eula Grooms; sister-in-law, Laura Grooms; and one niece, Morgan Grooms.
A memorial service will be at 4:00 pm Tuesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. David P. Nard officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
