Erica Carrier Kampert

Erica Carrier Kampert, born on February 11, 1965 and adopted by Leonard and Claire Carried who preceded her in death, left our world to be in the next on April 17, 2025. She is leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Much can be said about Erica. She was a friend and mother to anyone who wanted one. Be that her own kids- Ryan, Zak, Sam, and Livi, or any of their friends. The door was always open, and a plate of food ready to all the neighborhood kids. Erica was not only a caring mom, but a funny one. Always she had a witty response, never shying away from saying her true thoughts. She would always tell her children “Don’t ask questions you don’t want to hear the answers to”. Which in turn inspired us to be inquisitive and bold, which truly was her legacy, being so strong, kind, and funny, even at the end. Her room was filled with family and laughter in her final days; a truly poetic end to a woman who valued those ideals above all else.
