Ernest Earl Heaton, 73, of Asheville,
passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Pardee Hospital.
Born in Rutherfordton to the late Wesley and Louise Swanson Heaton, he was a barber.
Surviving Mr. Heaton is a daughter, Wendy Heaton of Fletcher; granddaughter, Hollie Rychanek; grandson, Spencer Stephenson and great grandson, Xzavier Rychanek. He is preceded in death by a sister, Kathryn Andrews.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m., Sunday, September 7, at Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Road.

We owned a condo next door to Ernest at Biltmore and we truely enjoyed his friendship. We did not get to see him often but we will miss him. Prayers for him and the rest of his family.
