Eva Bishop Reid

Arden ~ Eva Bishop Reid, 87, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2005 at Becky’s Rest Home. She was the daughter of the late C. O. Bishop and Martha Corn Bishop and was also preceded in death by her husband, James Charlie Reid and a brother, John E. Bishop. She is survived by two sons, David Reid of Arden and Edward Reid of Leicester; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday at Avery’s Creek Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Brenda Newman officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:30 – 12:30 P.M. at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity.
