Services for Fannie Cooke Battle will be held Saturday, May 9, 1998 at 2 PM in the Francis Asbury United Methodist Church with the Rev. Karen F. Miller officiating.
Mrs. Battle is survived by her husband, Verlin Maxwell Battle, Sr.; two sons, Maxwell Battle, Jr. of Candler and Joel Smith Battle of Williamston, NC; a sister, Shirley Cooke Davidson of Candler and 3 grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Masonic & Eastern Star Home, 700 S. Holden Road, Greensboro, NC 27407.
