Floyd S. Baldwin

Funeral services for Mr. Baldwin will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, September 6, 1998, in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Barry Lambert officiating. Burial will be at Green Hills Cemetery.
Mr. Baldwin was born in Buncombe County and was a son of the late Floyd S. and Emma Hulme Baldwin, Sr. He was an Army veteran of WW II and was married to Mildred Owens Baldwin, who died in 1997. He was a self-employed builder and was also a former employee of Armour & Co., Earl Chesterfield Mills, Baldwin Poultry Farm, and F & M Builders.
He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Baldwin Carpenter and Gary L. Waddell of Greenville, TN; two sons, William C. Baldwin of Fairview and Rodney L. and Lisa Fratiaroli Baldwin of Black Mountain; two sisters, Ethel Fouts of Franklin and Floybell Mull of Asheville; seven grandchildren, Melissa C. Nicklas, Matthew M. Carpenter, Madison L. Waddell, William 'Bill' C. Baldwin, Jr., J. Scott Baldwin, Ashley L. Baldwin, and Ryan M. Baldwin; two great-grandchildren, McKayl
