Frances Keith Mahoney of Candler born April 12, 1951 went to be with the Lord on March 4, 2016, after an extended illness.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Frank and Iva Keith.
Surviving are her husband of 36 years, John William Mahoney, Jr.; daughter Janice and son "Bubba"; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; multiple nieces, nephew, and great nieces and nephews; sister, Celeste Thompson, and brother, Jim Keith; in-laws, Barbara Mahoney Buell of Asheville, Mike Mahoney of Oregon, and Mary Mahoney Ollis of Leicester.
Fran was a true believer of God and angels, her family and her country. She served in the US Navy.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday in the Patton Ave. chapel of Groce Funeral Home.
