Frances Arlene McElrath Goode, 48, of Asheville, died Saturday, March 1, 2003, at her home.
Mrs. Goode was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Charles and Juanita Davis McElrath. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Wayne McElrath. She was a registered nurse and was a member of the National Guard with 15 years service and a member of Berea Baptist Church.
She is survived by two brothers, David McElrath of Weaverville and Frank McElrath of Swannanoa.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 am Tuesday at Berea Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Donald N. Welborn officiating.
Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Monday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.

Your sister wouldn’t come back here for anything even if she could. What a time she must be having!
