Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Words cannot describe how distressed we were to hear of Jim’s passing. We shall always remember the fun times we had at family gatherings. Robin and Eric loved conversations with Jim and his great comments. So glad you were able to fulfill his dream of going to Paris. We know you will always cherish those memories. Hope you and the girls are okay and sorry we can’t be with you tomorrow. We look forward to seeing you in 3 weeks. We love you.

  7. My sister was in Bill Daly’s class during childhood. She resides in Asheville and recently visited Jim who was in my class. I shared the news of his untimely death on Facebook. Not only did I have many fond memories of him, but so did others. He was preppy even back then, was a member of the band, smart, kind, and multi-talented. It is unfortunate that he may not have been aware of the wonderful memories and good feelings his classmates have of him and keep on their hearts. My sincere condolences to all his family and friends from adulthood.

  9. While I never had the chance to meet Bill, Lauren is a very special person and I would like to express my sincere condolences to your entire family. My thoughts and prayers go out to you during this hard time.

  10. I am just now hearing this news. My heart is sore with this news. I worked for Jim at pbm Digital. He was as much of a friend as a boss. His advice and guidance was always helpful and spot-on. My prayers of peace and comfort go out for Eileen and his wonderful daughters for whom his life revolved around.
Knowing that he passed in the beautiful town where I was born is comforting to know.

  11. I only knew Jim from our shared experiences on LinkedIn. As I got to know him, we spoke, by telephone, several times. I appreciated his warm and genuine advice and I respected his wisdom.

How sad to hear of his passing. I’m sure he will be missed by anyone he may have touched.

  12. I just learned of Jim’s passing. He was encouragement, friendship and support for me. While we only spoke with one another occasionally the past several years, I could always count on his honest, mentoring advice. He was as close as I can imagine to being the brother I never had. His words and presence live on. With deep respect and admiration.
