Growing up with Sandra, I got to know Frank and Jean pretty well. Frank was some kind of character! He was a lot of fun to be around, as is Jean. Frank came to my house when I was about 11 and took down a big tree in our back yard. They came real early in the morning and my grandmother (Ama) made me get up because she said the saws would wake me up. So, I went outside and I asked Frank how they were going to get it down without it falling on the house, he said ‘im glad your up, you get to climb up there and start sawing branches!!’ Well, he had such a serious look on his face, that I thought he was serious…and then he smiled and started laughing…phew, i was glad I didnt have to go up that tree!! he cut a piece of that tree so we could make a table, that table sits on my front porch today. So, its a good reminder of Frank, even though I havent gotten to talk to them much in the past six years, I am going to miss him.
