  6. Laura and Gwen, I’m so sorry to hear about your father’s passing. I am your father first cousin. My father name is Irvin Cathey youngest brother to your grandfather my Uncle Wilson Cathey. I enjoyed being with your father at the Cathey Christmas Dinner where I met you girls and your mother when you were young. The dinners were at Moores Chapel United Church, Moores Chapel Rd Charlotte. I realize it’s been years since your father’s passing. While doing the Cathey family tree I came across his obituary. If you would like to do a family tree my great grandfather Thomas Alexander Cathey and grandfather Loyd Watson Cathey your grandfathers father are buried at Paw Creek Presbyterian ChurchPaw Creek in Charlotte NC. Much love to both if you ❤️
