Genevieve Annie Robinson Daniels, 82, of Sardis Rd., Asheville, died Monday, October 22, 2007, at St. Joseph Campus Mission Hospitals.
Mrs. Daniels was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Columbus B. and Addie E. Herren Robinson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Jackson Daniels, who died in 1988; sisters, Mildred Danford and Audrey McFee; and brothers, Clyde, Arthur, Ervin, Floyd, and Harold Robinson.
She was a member of Good News Baptist Church.
Mrs. Daniels is survived by her daughters, Gloria Bowman and husband Roger, of Candler, and Patsy Broome and husband Mark, of Brevard; sons, Nicholus “Nick” Daniels and wife Janice, of Asheville, and Jerry Daniels and wife Debora, of Candler; sisters, Elouise C. Huffman and Thelma Davis, both of Asheville; eight grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Pisgah View Memorial Park.
Her family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
