Genevieve Greene Moore

A native of Watauga County, she was the daughter of the late T.G. & Dolly Greene. She attended Cecils Business College and worked for Imperial Life Insurance Company which is now Western Southern. She was later employed with Bent Creek Baptist Church where she worked for 30 years. She was also a active member of Bent Creek Baptist Church including WMU and taught Sunday School.
Mrs. Moore is survived by her son, Wayne Ray Moore of Butner, NC; brothers, Kenneth Greene of Fletcher, Jack Greene of Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Patton Avenue Chapel of Groce Funeral Home.
Reverend Ray Talley will officiate with burial following in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Her family will receive friends 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Genevieve has always been a good friend and a lot of fun. I will miss her greatly.
I would like to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I knew Genevieve from Bent Creek Baptist Church. It has been many years but I never forgot her. She always had a smile and a kind word for the kids of the church. May God be with you in your time of grief.
