  1. Our deepest sympathy for your
    lost of your wonderful Father,
    Husband and Grandfather. May
George rest in peace and be in
the safe haven of our Lord and
    Savior. God Bless…

  2. The greatest memories of my grandfather was taking me, as a small child to Happy Hill Restaurant, see, my grandfather was an Asheville City Police Officer, his name was Gay Anderson, and he passed away when I was only 7 years old in 1973. My mother Betty Gay Anderson Merideth was great friends with John Poulos when we lived in Weaverville, but I remember George so well as a child, and as a teenager when I worked for Angelo and Irene Evangelotos at Dennis’ Delicatessen. Please, except my deepest sympathy and know that ‘Mr George’ will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by this seven year old little girl, how is now, 34.
    With love
    Kelly Merideth-Simpson
