Guestbook

  1. I extend my deepest sympathy to Brenda and all the Carter Family.
I have very fond memories of Giles and all the kitchens he built for us over fifteen years. He was a most positive, creative, and resourceful artisan. And he was a story teller – one who handed down those stories of times past – the building of the Blue Ridge Parkway and the hauling of moonshine. He will be missed.

But Marvin and I both will hold a special place in our hearts as well as in our home where we have a lot of his fine furniture that he made with his special talents. We will cherish the closeness that we shared with Giles, and will always be there for any of you that need us. You are in our prayers and in our thoughts as you lay this precious soul to rest. God love you all and may you be lifted up in this time of bereavement. Love to you all, Marvin and Karen Mathews
