I met Mrs. Jones as a GWC classmate of her daughter, Donna. What a sweet, kind and creative lady. I was blessed by her infectious smile and witty humor. She often had a funny story to cheer others. As a believer in Jesus Christ, Gladys lived a life of purpose which is being carried on by her children. Enjoy your reward and eternal home, Mrs. Jones.
So glad I met you at GWC… and Mom and Dad always talked about visiting you in California! Love you!
I will always remember meeting your mother and sitting talking with her. She was a delight and had a smile on her face the entire time we were there. I know she is with Jesus. God bless you all.
That was a fun day! Thanks for going with me. Love you.
Countless young lives were changed for the better due to having Mrs. Jones as their teacher! Her personality was infectious. We had many laughs, at work, about the kids in her room thinking she was my mom. She was such an inspiration to me!
Truly, Heaven gained a beautiful angel❤️
She was only in the last nursing home 3 weeks and they talked about her smile- even though she was in bad shape! Thanks for your part in her life!
Thanks! You two would have gotten along well!
I knew Gladys Jones and her husband, Don, through First Baptist Church Asheville. She was such a gracious, kind, and caring lady! It is my pleasure to have known her! 🤗
Thank you.
Thank you Carey.
Thanks!
Gladys was a wonderful teacher and a good friend. Along with Don they touched so many lives. I will be saying a special prayer for her during her memorial. I would love to be there in person but driving is limited because of vision. To her family I ask that you stay close and share memories that might make you sad but will also make you smile. You were blessed to have her as your Mom.
Mom thought the world of you and we appreciate you contacting her through the years. We will miss you but understand. Thank you for the part you played in her life!
Larry and I have so many wonderful memories of the fun we had with Gladys and Don while they were at First Baptist Asheville. Their lives were truly inspirational, and they were so much fun! We enjoyed many games, visits, meals and especially their company.
I’m sorry we can’t see her family at Gladys’ memorial service but can almost hear her talking about all of you. She loved you so much!
