GLENN FRANKLIN FRISBEE LEICESTER – Glenn Franklin Frisbee, 95, of New Leicester Hwy, died Thursday, May 12, 2011, at the John F. Keever Solace Center. A native of Madison Co., he was a son of the late John and Mollie Stanley Frisbee. He was also preceded in death by sisters Julia Roberts and Dora Holland. Mr. Frisbee was a WWII Army Veteran, having served in Germany, France, and Italy. He is survived by a brother, Richard Frisbee; nieces June Hawkins, Marlene Frisbee, Mary Taylor, Juanita Riddle; and nephews Harold Roberts, Kenneth Roberts, and Marvin Holland. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Union Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Amy Brookshire, 749 N. Turkey Creek Rd., Leicester, NC 28748.
