Bill and Family Members, We were aware that Gloria was not well but were distressed to read about her in this morning’s paper. Regardless of age, health, or any other circumstance we are never ready to lose our loved ones. The only comfort comes from our Faith in the Sovereignty of God and the concern manifested by our friends. Please know we are thinking of you and hope it helps in some small way to know that others do care. Zunita and Joe

Dear Rott and Pomeroy families,
My heart was greatly saddened at the news of Mrs. Pomeroy’s death–I knew her best as Mrs. Rott, Taffy’s mom. I always enjoyed my times in her home and her wonderful laugh and delicous food. I am sorry that I did not get to see her again after some 20 plus years. Gloria was a wonderful woman, wife, and mother; she will be greatly missed by all. My thoughts and prayers are with you and may God uphold you during this time.
Sincerely yours,
Cynthia Baron Coleman

Taffy, Ginger, Margot, and Paula…
Your mom was like a second mother to me growing up in Oak Forest. Ginger, I know we must have been a little hard to keep up with at times. I’ll always remember her animated laughs, the delicious meals, her beautiful garden, always open home, and her frequent tolerance and forgiveness of all the trouble we got into! She was a classy and beautiful lady and will be missed. I’m thinking of all of you during this time of loss.
Love, Florie
Paula and Family,
You are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
