Hattie Lou Miller

Hattie Lou Miller, 80, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at her home. Mrs. Miller was born in Asheville and was a daughter of the late John R. and Willie Jones Neighbors. She was married to Richard Wesley Miller, Sr., who died in 2008. She is survived by two daughters, Vivian Bugg (Danny) and Teresa Pressley (James); two sons, Wesley Miller, Jr. and Alf Miller; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Her family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue followed by a service in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. The Revs. Don Penland, Autrey Neighbors, and Alf Miller will officiate with interment to follow at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
