Helen Delois Woody

Helen Delois Woody, 80, of Arden, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at the Oaks at Sweeten Creek.

A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Allie Kirkland Woody. Delois was also preceded in death by one sister, Alma Jean Plemmons and one brother, Glenn Woody.

She is survived by one sister, Madge Frisbee (Carl); one brother, William Mack Woody (Ruby) and many nieces and nephews whom she all adored.

A graveside service to honor the life of Delois will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 13 at Hice Hill Cemetery. She will lie in repose at Groce Funeral Home’s Lake Julian location on Saturday from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM. During that time, the family will not be present, but guests may sign the register book and pay their respects.
