Helen Eplee Scott, 71, of the Vanderbilt Apartments, Asheville, died Saturday, December 22, 2001, at her home.
Mrs. Scott was born in Buncombe County and was a
daughter of the late James Hill and Mildred Evelyn Boyd Eplee. She was preceded in death by her husband John Franklin Scott, who died in
1978, and by a sister, Mildred Rosena Haney. She was a photographer for the Rembrandt Studios and was a member of Oak Forest Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by two sisters, Mary Ann Crook, and Jimmie Dean Parris, and a brother, Jerry Hill
Eplee, all of Candler.
Graveside services will be 11:00 am Monday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Ken
Mullis officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Presbyterian Home for Children, 80 Lake Eden Road, Black Mountain,
NC 28711.

We are so sorry to hear of Helen’s passing. We loved her dearly and what a beautiful smile and laugh she had. She will live in our memories forever. May God hold you in his hands while you go through this difficult time. We Love you all, Caroll and Norman
