Bonnie and family, I don’t know if you remember me or not but I’m one of Ed’s cousins. My dad, Bill, was Herbert’s brother. We were so sorry to hear of Ed’s passing and so sorry that we haven’t all kept in touch over the years. Betty Jane called me about Ed’s passing and I told Dad. Please know that you have our deepest sympathy from all here in Sanford, N.C.
Bonnie and Family,
I am so sorry about Ed. He will be missed. Thanks for calling me to let me know. As you can see the message was relayed to Sanford to the Spivey Family.
God be with you at this time.
Love to all.
B. Jane
Bonnie and Family,
I am one of Ed’s first cousins. My father Carl Spivey was Herbert’s oldest brother. I used to spend 4-5 weeks each summer with Uncle Herbert, Aunt Johnsie,& Ed and Al in Mt. Gilead and have many fond memories of those times; especially when Ed would drive the 3 of us to Myrtle Beach for the day. I am so sorry that I had not seen Ed in so many years.
I have spoken with Al by phone. You and your family have my deepest sympathy.
Mary
Bonnie, Al and family,
I am one of Ed’s cousin’s. My Dad, Roy, was Herbert’s brother also. Uncle Herbert and Aunt Johnsie use to spend a lot of time with us eating at the fish house’s near Mt. Gilead and around the Sanford area. Aunt Johnsie spent a lot of time with Mom and Dad after Herbert’s passing. We also spent many weekends at Aunt Johnsie’s and Uncle Herbert’s home while they were living. We use to keep in contact with Al some, but over the years have not with Ed’s family either. We were so sorry to hear of Ed’s passing and so sorry that we haven’t all kept in touch over the years. Betty Jane contacted me about Ed’s passing. Please know that you have our deepest sympathy from all here in Sanford, N.C. also.
Love Terry Spivey,(Roy’s son) Ina Mae Spivey, (Roy’s wife)
I’m sorry I forgot to mention my relationship to Ed. I am another first cousin, daughter of Mae Carden, Ed’s dad’s youngest sister.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love and God be with you.
B. Jane
Thank you all for your notes, we really appreciate it.
