Ida Bryson Lance, 94, of Arden, passed away Monday, June 1, 2015 at Heather Glen at Ardenwoods.
A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, she was a daughter of the late Everett V. Bryson and Leona Elsie Israel Bryson and was also preceded in death by her husband, Claude A. Lance and six siblings, Florine Crawford, Fred Bryson, Carroll Bryson, Frank Bryson, Albert Bryson and Allis Leona Bryson.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Shepherd Memorial Park, officiated by Reverend Ron Benzing.
Memorial donations may be made to either Four Seasons Hospice, 571 South Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731 or to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 112 Ray's Place Lane, Horse Shoe, NC 28742.
Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting the family.
To family, little Ms. Ida was a blessing to our family who for a couple years were neighbors to her at Heather Glen. She always had such a sweet smile and had a special way of reminding me of my own grandmother! May God bless us all.
