Jack Arnold Sauer, 83, of Candler, died Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Mission Hospital. A native of Cleveland, OH, Mr. Sauer was a son of the late Richard and Mildred Hogsette Sauer. Mr. Sauer was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where he served as a pilot. He worked as a systems analyst for Owens Corning Fiberglass. Surviving are his wife, Bonnie Pflaum Sauer; daughter, Amy Kisselburg; grandchildren, Taylor Sauer and Katie Duncan; and step-brother, Robert Swan. Graveside services for Mr. Sauer will be held at a later date at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Candler. Pastor Michael Kurtz will officate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family.
