You all had a wonderful father, grandfather, and friend. He and Nanny Barbara were always good to me, welcomed me into their home when we visited them, and are two of the sweetest people I have ever had the opportunity to meet. I’m thankful I had that chance. Continue on in his footsteps…..I know where he is today……and it will never be good-bye. He just beat you home. You all have been, are, and will continue to be in my prayers.
Love to you all…….
Pam

We want your entire family to know how much we love you all and are praying that the Lord will comfort each of you and give you strength. Jack has always been very special to us. I have known him since I was a baby and loved to hear him sing the ‘Old Song’ at church. He has now gone to that mansion he sang about. He is happy and healthy now. We will miss him so much but we know that we will see him again. Just imagine the homecoming he is having and embracing the One who died for us all. Praise God for His blessings!
I’m sorry for your loss. Your Dad was a great guy. Remember you will see him again.

Susie, Barbara, Becky & Entire Whiteside Family, I was so saddened to learn of Jack’s passing. It was always evident that Jack & Barbara lived the Christian walk with Christ. His absence will be felt by many as he was a real rock to his family. What a joyful thought to know that he is now rejoicing with our Savior.
Though health issues will prevent me from attending the funeral, you will certainly be in my thoughts and prayers. Becky,it was so good to see you and Christy not long ago. May God continue to encourage and lift each of you on this journey.
All my Love,
Pat Forbes

I could never express the true meaning that Barbara and Jack have meant to me. Through tough times and fun times.New Years eve, camping, etc. But I have learned the hard way that God needs good men in his heavenly kingdom. Can you imagine the singing that is going on up there and Arlene sitting there smiling. Barbara, Albert our time is next. I want to see all of them and hear about the people that have met that we are only still studying about. Won’t Heaven be wonderful. I have more there than I do here and one day, we will all sing around his Throne. Praise God forever more. I love all of you that are left and know our time will be soon. Barbara Plemmons.
Dad- Words can never express how much love and joy u brought to my life. Even though you are not my biological father-you always treated me as one of your own. You always told us to keep our eyes on the Lord and now when we look up- we’ll know that you are looking down on us. You may be gone-but NEVER FORGOTTEN. Thanks for loving me!
My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time.
