Jackie was always a friend to me when I was at the Presbyterian Home and I will never forget him and his friendship. My sympathy to the family and to my dear friends Clifford and Thelma.
May God bless the family
Tim you and Jackie are in my prayers.Your dad was a very fine man and he is going to be missed by everyone that knew him. Love you.
When I met and married Dan Hensley in 1963, the first and best friend I heard about was Jackie Smathers. Dan loved to tell stories about their escapades—apparently, they were quite something at the Orphanage and around Black Mountain. I’m sorry for your loss, Cliff, but I KNOW Dan gave him a Huge welcome when he got to Heaven!
