Jack Wesley Revis, 80, of Asheville, died on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at the Elizabeth House.
An Asheville native, Jack was a son of the late Ernest and Amelia Morgan Revis. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Joan Hufton Revis; sister, Marquita Rose; and brothers, Jimmy, George, Billy Ray, and Anthony Revis.
Mr. Revis is survived by his daughters, Diane Godwin and Jackquelyn Deweese; son, Phillip Revis; grandchildren, Jennifer, Brittany, Wesley, Paige, Timmy and Amy; great-grandchildren, Karli, Arabella, Raegan and Wyatt; sisters, Sheila McKinney and Marsha Revis; and brother, David Revis.
Mr. Revis's family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday evening at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave.
A funeral procession will leave the funeral home on Tuesday morning at 9:45 a.m. to travel to Green Hills Cemetery for burial at 10:00 a.m.

To my Nieces and Nephew, want to let you know I love you and my heart is with you. Know it has been a really hard 2017, with loosening both your mother and dad. Please know they are at piece until we meet again. Love All you guy’s.
Very sorry to learn of the death of Jack. I will keep his family in my thoughts and prayers.
Jack certainly lived a very inspiring Life! I loved to listen to him tell me how he loved to Fly his airplane. May God Bless all of his loved ones at this time, where you celebrate his Life that was a true testimony of his compassion to live each day to it,s fullest! Jack was a very special friend to me.
