Skip,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss your sister, Jackie. I will keep you in my prayers.
We were old school friends beginning at St. Joan of Arc, through St. Genevieve’s, and beyond our adult years. While we never saw each often, we always had much to talk about when we met. We shared good times growing up making lots of memories. Her love of books, talent in music, and writing, were special. Her love of family, friends, and animals will always be her legacy. She was kind soul that leaves her spirit behind for all of us.
I’m so sorry to hear this news. As long as it’s been since I’ve lived in Asheville, “Jac and Nic” are two names that correlate with everyone and everything I knew and loved there. -Kristen Linkous (Sam Crabtree’s mom)
A wonderful person and friend
I am so saddened at the world’s loss of Jackie. She was a kind, wise and brilliant person who gave much to all she touched. I grieve that we won’t ever again be graced in person with her beautiful singing voice.
My heart is always with you Nicki and with Skip and Family and with all who were close to Jackie.
Jackie sat close to me in all our classes and I was always jealous of her quick mind and powers of retention. I remember the many guitar sessions in the Crescent and our Advanced Biology trip to the coast. I was so glad to see her at our most recent reunion. My best wishes to Nicky and all the family.
