Judy and family,
I was saddened to hear of Jim’s passing. I worked with him at Asheville Tower from 1982 until he retired, and will always remember him with a smile. At times like this, I like to share what Betty White said about handling grief: ‘There’s no formula. Keep busy with your work and your life. You can’t become a professional mourner. It doesn’t help you or others. Keep the person in your hear all the time. Replay the good times. Be grateful for the years you had.’ I believe Jim would want that for you, as well. May God bless and keep you all, in strength and comfort.
So sorry for your loss. We all are looking forward to the day when John 5:28 will come true for all the ones we’ve loved and lost. Psalm 83:18
Tony and I Love You and Jim so much and know will love you children as well. There is so little I can say.
Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss. Even though I did not know Mr. Spencer, I had the pleasure of teaching and knowing his son, Jon. Mr. Spencer must have been a fine man to have a wonderful son like Jon. May his memories bring all of his family happiness and comfort in the days to come.
Judy,& Jon you know how much we love you and how very special Jim is to us. We are so very sorry that this happened and if there were anyway possible, we would undo this. Our love, our hearts, our prayers and our thoughts are constantly with you. Hang on tightly to each other and to us, your adopted sister and aunt and uncle.
A heart broken and crushed spirit, O God, you will not reject.’? (Psalm 51:17b) I’m sorry for your loss; may God provide you and your family with peace and comfort during this difficult time. The Bible shares a wonderful resurrection hope for future. I pray that you find comfort in the wonderful promises of John 5:28, 29 and Acts 24:15.
