Jim was a member of our church and a great friend. He will be missed by all. Our sincere sympathy to his family. Jim was a fine man and, as the pastor said on Sunday, “His faith has now become sight”
Jim was a bright light in this dark world and he shone brightest when he was talking about Jesus. Jim’s amazing smile was as constant as the sunrise and it was an honor and pleasure to know him for these last three years. God has blessed all of us indeed with Jim!
Jim was a friend, classmate & neighbor on Brush Creek Road. He was liked by all students and faculty at Fairview & A.C. Reynolds. He was also a great athlete and an all-around good person. He will be missed at any future reunions. My heartfelt condolences to the family.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD. HE TAUGHT ME HOW TO PLAY CHESS WHEN I WAS 15 YEARS OLD. BEEN THERE FOR MY FAMILY THROUGH THE YEARS ESPECIALLY WHEN MY DAD PASSED IN 2003. HIM & DAD ALWAYS KIDDED EACH OTHER ON WHO WOULD GET TO HEAVEN FIRST OR HOW STUBBORN THE OTHER WAS. SO MANY WONDERFUL MEMORIES & ADVICE GIVEN TO US BY HIM. HE LOVED THE LORD, HIS FAMILY, & FRIENDS SO MUCH. WE WILL BE PRAYING FOR THE FAMILY & HE WILL BE MISSED DEARLY! 🙏💔 #RIHJIM 😇#GONEWAY2SOON 😭😟
Mr Jim was my friend but most of all he was a friend and fisherman of Jesus Christ . I will truly miss our Bible discussions but most of all his great big smile and our laughing together. Enjoy heaven see you there.
I am so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I have so many memories of us as we made our way through life in Fairview Community, Fairview School and then Reynolds. Though life left us in different geographical locations, I thought of Jim so many times over the years. The couple of times I got to talk and reminisce with him at Reynolds reunions are priceless and will always be a part of my pleasant memories. Go in peace, good friend.
Beautiful words, Neighbor!
