Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. So sorry to read about Jana. I hope that with the passing of time, this sadness can be gradually replaced with the many happy memories you shared together. May you also find strength in God’s sure promise to soon end ‘all tears, mourning, pain and even death’ (Rev. 21:4). Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

  2. When we lose a loved one here on earth, we gain an angel in heaven that watches over us. May you take comfort in knowing that you have an angel to watch over you now. I extend my most sincere condolences to you.
I worked with Jana at the Hendersonville Rd Kmart and loved every minute of it. God bless her family.

  3. Mitzi, Zack , Dawn and family, so sad to hear of Jana’s passing. I watched her grow up at Sunrise Baptist Church, and later always saw her at K-mart at Biltmore Square and talked to her many times. Talmadge and I were friends with Webb and Lottie. Please know my prayers are with you.

  4. Zach, Mitzi, Dawn & Family, our hearts are saddened with the news of Jana’s passing. The Morgan Family was a staple to the Sunrise Baptist Family and community. Feeling your loss is a loss to our family also. May you be comforted wth warm, loving, memories along with the reminder of God’s promises to join one another again. You are in our thoughts in prayers now and the coming days ahead.

  5. My thoughts and prayers go out to her children and grandchildren. I knew Jana for many years. I knew her when she worked downtown at the Sky City offices and then I later worked with her a KMart. I really liked talking to her, she was a real sweet person.
May God give you comfort at this time.

  6. I will miss Jana, her smile, the way she would just stop and look at you as if saying ‘What’. I worked with and knew her for a long time she will forever remain my friend and when I walk into Kmart I will see her smile and hear her laughter ringing through aisles and know she is walking the streets of gold with no pain and at peace at last! I know you will miss her but her love for each of you will never end and she can live on in your hearts God Bless you all you are in my prayers.

  7. Zach and Mitzi, your mom was so much like a sister to me that we could finish each others sentences. Such a lovely soul and strong til the end. I will hold you in my prayers and be here for you anytime. I love you both.

  8. Jana’s Family, Mitzi and Zack, our love and sympathy during this time of the loss of your precious mother, and Dawn your sister. Love Martha Reece and family

  9. Mitzi, Zack and Family, I am very sorry to hear about the loss of Jana. You and your family are in our prayers. Jana was very special and she will be missed. She was always proud of her Children and Grand Children and she always took great care of everyone at Kmart especially me. She was a dedicated and hard working person. If we can help your family in any way please let us know. I hope it will be possible to come back to NC for the services but if not know that we are thinking about you and praying for you.

  10. Jana was not only a great neighbor she was friendly and caring. Pat and I are so sorry she had to leave us so soon.

  11. My thoughts and prayers go to Mitzi, Zach, and all of the family. Jana was a wonderful person to work with and she will be truly missed.

  12. To the Bagamary family, so sorry for your loss. Death can be a terrible thing, especially when we love that person so much. Please remember that God understands all of the pain your family is going through. He has made us a wonderful promise that’s found in Revelation 21:3,4. Which lets us know that soon all sicknesses and death will be no more. I hope this scripture will bring comfort to your family. Please be assured that you’d family will be in my prayer.

  13. I am sorry for the loss of your mother Jana. Your family is in my prayers. Be strong God will see you through. Jana was a loving and caring person. She will be missed dearly.

  14. Mitzi and Zach I was sadden to read of the death of your mother. Please know that others, even strangers, are thinking of your family at this difficult time. One of the most difficult things we have to deal with is the death of a loved one. I would like to share this encouraging promise from the Bible at Isaiah 26:19 because it gives hope that one day Jana will come back to life. This scripture promises: ‘Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up.
Awake and shout joyfully,You residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning, And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life.’ What a grand time that will be. May you find comfort in God’s Word.
I invite you to visit the website jw.org for more sure promises.

  15. I am so sorry for your loss. Jana was an incredible person. No one made me feel more at home and did more for me at Kmart than Jana. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

  16. Know Mitzi, and Zach that you both are in my prayers. Words will never do justice to the strong, fine woman Jana was. Remembering all our times together does bring a smile to my heart. I love you both. In my prayers.

  17. Jana is a very special soul. I will miss her dearly, but am very thankful to have spent time with her over the past several years. My prayers are with you Mitzi and Zach, as I can only imagine the sorrow of your loss. Thank you for sharing your mom with the rest of us. She made a positive impact, and lead her professional and personal life as an example for others to follow.

  18. I can honestly say that Jana was my first friend. Our parents were close friends when we were babies and we learned to crawl, walk and get into trouble together. I’ll always remember Lottie’s life lessons, Webb’s imaginary dog – Trixie and the infamous Falcon station wagon! I have a special place in my heart for Jana and the Morgans. Wishing the family peace and courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to replace the sadness you feel now.

  19. Mitzi and Zach my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time with the loss of your Mom as she was a wonderful and kind lady and I always enjoyed working with her.

  20. Mitzi: I was truly saddened to hear of your Mothers passing. I don’t take the paper anymore and was informed by my sister, who’s husband worked with Jana at K-mart. Please except my sympathy for your loss. She will be missed by many. You were one of my best students on my bus.
